Colomendy is perfect for schools and groups looking for an immersive outdoor adventure. This 130 acre site is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Deep in the valley surrounded by scenic hills and woodland, brimming with wildlife and with views of Moel Famau.
Loggerheads Country Park is opposite the centre and there are plenty of opportunities to venture off-centre to explore the hills and woodland.

- Outdoors: Activities integrated into the stunning woodland, including three huge climbing and abseiling towers, high and low rope activities, a 3G swing, a 200 metre giant zipwire, and an exceptionally realistic caving system built into a natural rock seam
- Indoors: Spacious sports hall for team games, fencing and recreational activities
- Watersports: Purpose built watersports lake for raft building, kayaking and canoeing
- Gift shop: Our on-site shops sell snacks and drinks, as well as postcards, souvenirs, games and mementos
Other facilities: Diner, chill out areas, party leader lounges and classroom spaces - Security: the centre site is fully secure with boundary fencing, security gates and CCTV
- Please note we have limited to no mobile access in most areas across the site, but we have landlines available for use in our reception area

We provide healthy and delicious meals and snacks throughout the day, providing children with the fuel they need to enjoy the adventures in the day ahead! We are able to accommodate dietary requirements, just let us know.
Accomodation at

Colomendy has standard dormitory-style accommodation. Rooms range from 4 to 16-bed dormitories, with gender-separated bathroom and shower facilities and party leader rooms close by. Adventure Lodges are also available for the ultimate adventure experience. Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided for all guests.

Our recently refreshed party leader bedrooms are complete with furnishings, tea and coffee making facilities and a radio alarm.
Colomendy has a large party leader lounge, equipped with internet-enabled computers, hot drink making facilities and comfy sofas to warm up after a chilly day in the woods and enjoy the beautiful view of Moel Famau in the distance and the surrounding area.
Group leaders also have the opportunity to join a local art group on Thursday mornings to test their painting or drawing skills in our meeting room.

All activities and meals are included in the cost of the trip, however guests may which to purchase snacks and souvenirs from the shop. We would recommend bringing spending money of £10. Card machines are available at Colomendy, Dearne Valley, Grosvenor Hall, Isle of Wight, Overstrand Hall and West Runton.
