Experiences for Schools
Our outdoor activity programmes are tailor made to offer young people brilliant experiences alongside learning opportunities based on curriculum outcomes. Our activity centres for schools are perfect for residential trips.
Primary
Schools
There’s no doubt that school residential memories can last a lifetime, and creating unforgettable experiences is what we’re here to do.
Learning outside the classroom, a residential has the power to solidify classroom learning, develop key skills to support young people at school and build life-changing memories.
Our residentials are the perfect environment to develop positive mind-sets, improve wellbeing and encourage self-belief through laughter and activities.
We bring learning out of the classroom by tailoring to your needs and linking each activity back to the core curriculum. Character development is at the core of each Kingswood programme focusing on confidence, resilience and life skills.
Secondary
Schools
Boosting confidence, building resilience and improving wellbeing are key focuses of a Kingswood residential. More than just a school trip, it’s an opportunity to grow in confidence, to collaborate, to set goals and to reach new heights. Each residential is tailor-made to your class’ needs and suitable for all Secondary School ages.
We work collaboratively with you to develop a programme based on your learning objectives and the core curriculum, offering you a post and pre-visit toolkit to support evidencing. Character development is central to our residential so we link confidence, resilience and life skills building through all our activities.
Whether it’s achieving a personal goal by scaling our climbing tower - or constructing a raft with fellow class members for the first time, every activity at our centres is designed to boost students’ confidence, increase engagement back in the classroom and develop the skills needed in order to better manage the pressures of school life.
