We are absolutely thrilled to have won the School Travel Awards’ ‘Best Residential Experience’ award for the second year running at a ceremony held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington yesterday.

Winning this award goes a long way in confirming that we are raising the bar to provide the very best outdoor learning and adventure experiences for young people. We love what we do, and the whole team here were so pleased to receive this award. Thank you to everyone that voted for us.

In 2016, we were also very pleased to be finalist in the categories of 'Best Adventure Experience' and 'Best Venue for Science Learning'.

The School Travel Awards are organised by School Travel Organiser Magazine and recognise the best attractions, destinations, companies and practitioners in the field of educational travel and learning outside the classroom.

The awards ceremony took place the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London on Thursday 9th November and was co-hosted by renowned television presenter Fiona Bruce.

Jason Andrews, chief Operating officer at Kingswood said:

“It’s a fantastic surprise to have won this award for a second year! The whole team are delighted to have been recognised by our extremely valued customers again, and would like to thank everyone who voted. We hugely value awards like this, and they encourage us to continue to improve the impact of our experiences.”

Publisher of School Travel Organiser magazine, Rob Yandell, said:

“The role of education in an ever changing world has never been more important. We all learn in different ways but these awards pay tribute to the tremendous contribution made to pupils' overall learning experience at both primary and secondary level by people, places and experiences outside of the classroom.”
