Jacob's Ladder
One of our High Ropes elements. Small teams of 2-3 climbers have to really pull together on this activity, only the best team working skills will ensure success! Stretching muscles as well as minds, students must navigate their way up a giant high ropes ladder of horizontally suspended logs, the challenge comes with the ever-increasing gaps between the rungs. Pupils will have to effectively communicate with each other, discuss their options, weight them up and decide on the best course of action. Often teachers find that leadership skills tend to appear from the most unlikely students who gain confidence from being in a setting outside the classroom, gathering their team around to hoist each other all the way up to the top. Problem solving at its very best.
