We are constantly listening to feedback from the teachers and group leaders who visit us to continuously improve the experience we offer our guests. In response to your feedback, we’ve updated the way our programmes are structured to give your groups more time on each activity and give you more opportunities to review and feedback on your programme throughout your visit.
Longer activity sessions
We’ve extended our standard activity sessions to 90 minutes, instead of 70 minutes allowing groups to really immerse themselves in the activity and make sure that even in bigger groups, everyone gets a turn on activities such as zipwire with no need to rush.
This will also allow us to schedule two shorter activities in one session at 45 minutes each when the group will benefit from a faster paced session for maximum engagement.
Activity options at meal times
Our lunch and dinner sessions will now be 130 minutes long allowing for a less formal activity option before or after the meal delivered by the group leader. These activities are designed for team building and are based around the whole group interacting with each other. These could be ‘just for fun’ events and tournaments or an opportunity to review and further explore the group’s learning outcomes.
Your choice of arrival times
Whilst our activity sessions are now fewer and longer, if you want to get even more out of your stay you can opt for one of our early arrival options and add an extra activity.
- Standard Arrival

Here's what a typical Adventure Choice programme might look like now.
Please note this is a sample timetable and does not reflect exact activities run at each centre. Please see centre location pages for a full list of centre specific activities.
Group leader briefings
Our activity leaders are now taking on a Course Director role where they spend more time with the group and teacher gathering feedback. Each day will start with a group briefing where any issues or queries can be discussed and passed on to the customer services team if necessary to be dealt with promptly.
Our new programme was trialled at Dearne Valley last month with Course Director, Jim leading the group. Jim said:
‘I feel honoured and proud to have delivered this new course! Seeing the feedback has made me feel incredible as I've owned their journey. I can't wait till I'm Course Director next time. The relationship I managed to create with the group due to the change allowed me to build an incredible bond and I feel like I did a great job. It felt personal to the guests which for us was the biggest change.’
