Key team members
John Robson, Health and Safety Advisor
The best bits for me in my long Kingswood career are knowing that I’ve made a difference. My role doesn’t place me centre stage, but it’s great to see ideas I’ve had or advice I’ve given having a positive impact on the safety of young people. There’s a real thrill in proving that safety management done well helps us to achieve rather than holds us back. I’m proud that Kingswood showcases sensible risk management; the perfect antidote to a ‘cotton-wool culture.’
Eoghan Powell, General Manager at Colomendy
Colomendy has been welcoming guests for 75 years and it’s humbling to be a part of continuing that story. The Mountains, lakes and rivers of North Wales have so much to offer, every day brings something new.
Harley Walker, General Manager at Château de Chantereine
I have been at our historic Chateau for almost 4 years and have loved every minute. The Chateau team are super fun and professional, deliver outstanding Battlefield tours and take our young guests on the best days out. We love visiting the goat farm and the Cathedral in Rouen and enjoy practicing our French whilst at the local markets and supermarche!
Brian Kitson, General Manager at Dearne Valley
Dearne Valley is located just outside Doncaster on the banks of the river Don and the edge of a nature reserve. The newest Kingswood centre, it opened in 2012 following a multi-million pound re-development. Set over 52 acres it offers a range of activities including Watersports, High Ropes, Climbing, Zip Wire, Fencing, Archery and Bushcraft. The centre welcomes a diverse range of guest every year including Schools, Youth Groups, Scouts, Guides and NCS. Working with my dedicated and professional team my role is to ensure that all guests have a safe, fun and educational experience that supports the development of young people.

We work hard together to ensure that every single guest, group leader, language student, birthday celebrate leave with memories that last a lifetime.
Lee Grey, General Manager at Isle of Wight
It's all about location, location, location. Working on the Isle of Wight is a unique experience, from the ferry journey across the Solent to the amazing Island exploring that can be done in your own time. Taking in the amazing beaches, trying your hand at sailing or revving up for the world famous Isle of Wight festival…to say I love it here is an understatement!
Carol Bone, General Manager at Overstrand Hall and West Runton
I have the privilege of managing two centres on the beautiful North Norfolk coastline. Overstrand Hall, our leading Environmental Field Study centre, and West Runton which offeris a range of activities for primary schools and youth groups. Whilst each centre is very different, both deliver amazing experiences to every visitor in a safe, friendly, family environment.
Henry Teuma, General Manager at Staffordshire
I have been with Kingswood for over 10 years working in different areas of the business before becoming General Manager. The Staffordshire centre is the original Kingswood Centre and is perfect for Primary school groups as the centre layout isn’t too dissimilar of that of a school and therefore would bring a sense of calmness to anyone that feels nervous about visiting.
