The Kingswood Transition course is specifically designed to assist with transition from Primary to Secondary school at Year 6 to Year 7 and Middle to High School at Year 7 to Year 8. Challenging and rewarding, the Lifeskills Transition course gives groups the opportunity to build understanding, friendships and learn to work together as a team.
Transition encourages lively interaction & fun teamwork between classmates and is particularly valuable in promoting bonding at the beginning of the new academic year and the start of their secondary school education.
Working on the understanding that a good induction programme creates a good year group, the Kingswood Transition Programme is designed to stimulate both good class and year relationships.
Students are assigned a project to complete a music CD within a set time scale, encouraging them to use essential lifeskills including problem solving, time management, organising, influencing and presentation skills.
