Kingswood: Norfolk Woodland Ecology

(Full day or half day study)

Deciduous and coniferous habitats are studied to investigate how abiotic factors influence the woodland. This is ideal as a preliminary study for coursework groups to assess different data collecting techniques for other studies.

Fieldwork: Soils chemical analysis (pH, nitrate, phosphate, potassium, temperature); soil analysis (sieves); quadrat analysis (grid, random); light intensity; ambient temperature.
