Every child remembers their school trip, as I’m sure we all do – a time of learning and laughter, making friends, exploring exciting new experiences, as well as discovering a bit more about themselves and their classmates.

This specially designed area of our website is to explain what Kingswood is all about and to give you the opportunity to discover all the wonderful things your child and 130,000 other children each year will get the chance to take part in on their forthcoming visit to our Centres.

For almost three decades, Kingswood has been providing educationally-rich courses for children from primary / P4-7 through to A Level / Scottish Highers. Courses link to the curriculum and ensure teachers are able to fulfil their requirements to cover all areas of the curriculum and give children the best possible opportunities in their education.

A Kingswood residential adventure enables young people to explore and fulfil their own personal potential. Our Centres allow young people to learn about themselves, experiencing new things in new environments. By living and learning together day in and day out, groups bond in ways unrivalled by other experiences. They learn the benefits of teamwork, respect for others, camaraderie and overall shared responsibility, whilst developing a keen sense of fairness, responsibility and notions of citizenship.
