Reportage engages students by encouraging learning & information gathering in the field and then cementing understanding with an exciting ICT follow-up project. Students return to school having experienced a foreign country and culture with a portfolio of work as evidence of their attainment.

We first introduced schools to Reportage almost a decade ago, a project that fires the imagination and has always perfectly complemented our excursion programmes. Our new version of Reportage takes advantage of the latest technology & learning methods whilst the underpinning concept remains as popular as ever. Groups must produce, against the clock, their very own campaign to promote the sites they have visited across a variety of media channels.

In a single day, project teams bring together all the material they have collected and produce a media show, short editorial film and press story highlighting the distinct culture and history of this region of France.

Kingswood instructors are on hand to guide students through the project-work and focus young minds on key areas whilst making the most of the technology and tools they have available.

Reportage is designed to be combined with the Rouen, Arras and WWI battlefields tours which   make excellent study topics for this programme.
