Together with the specialists in travel insurance, Travellers Protection Services Limited, we have arranged comprehensive travel insurance cover, tailored to meet your particular needs. Cover is underwritten by Travel & Personal Underwriters, who is a member of the General Insurance Standards Council, Association of British Insurers and the Financial Services Ombudsman.

For only £5.00 per person you and your students are covered for such things as:

Cancellation charges levied should you or any of your students find themselves unable to travel.

Additional accommodation and travel expenses should you or any of your students fall ill or are injured, for example, missing the scheduled journey home.

Lost personal property or money.

The best news is that, as the organiser of the trip you are covered absolutely free. *

Group Travel Organisers Liability Whilst supervision and facilities provided by Kingswood Educational Activity Centres is of the highest standard, we are aware that Local Education Authorities across the country are hardening their stance towards external trips, placing you in a difficult position. This is why we are delighted to announce that our policy provides up to £5,000,000 liability cover for you, your Local Education Authority and/or
other organising authority, for incidents directly or indirectly caused by you in your capacity as the group organiser, where you become legally liable for:

The illness, bodily injury or death of any person.

Loss of or damage to third party property not in your care custody or control

For the sake of good order a summary of cover is detailed below:

5i. Delayed Travel Holiday Abandonment Up to £1,000 (excluding insurance premiums) £25

5ii. Delayed Travel Periodical Benefit Up to £45 Nil

6. Missed Departure Up to £400 Nil

7. Personal Property Up to £1,000, sub-limited to: i. £25ii. Nil excess for spectacles and prescription sunglasses

8. Personal Money Up to £1,000, sub-limited to: £25

9. Personal Liability Up to £2,000,000 £25 in respect of 3rd party property damage

10. Group Travel Organisers Liability Up to £5,000,000 £50 in respect of 3rd party property damage

There are, of course, conditions and exclusions applicable to the cover, not least that some pre-existing medical conditions cannot be covered. In addition to this, some sections of cover contain sub-limits, particularly concerning the Personal Property and Money sections.
