Le Grand Union! On selected dates throughout the year our centres host schools from the UK and throughout Europe for our very popular Interaction programme. This is when Kingswood becomes a truly international home- from-home with special interaction sessions where young people from around the globe can laugh and learn together.
Students come together for an exhilarating few days of meticulously planned activities. Interaction is developed through team working, challenges in ICT, adventure activities, orienteering, treasure hunts and problem solving puzzles. New friendships are cemented through shared mealtimes - where children sample new trans-continental tastes and also a visit to TwilightWorld, a personalised version of the famous Kingswood evening entertainment!
The programme contributes to key areas of citizenship and cultural experience, in addition to ICT, English, Geography and the European language of your choice (principally French, Spanish German, Italian). Visiting schools often develop joint projects for follow up back at school. This is a perfect way for pupils to learn about different cultures, share ideas and gain new insights into how lifestyles vary around the world.
