The Kingswood Motivation Programme is extremely beneficial as a shot in the arm for a Key Stage 3 or 4+ year group facing a busy exam timetable or to motivate a group of individuals who are less able or under-achieving. Motivating students is often very difficult within the confines of their own school. Our three-day Motivation course is designed to take students away from school to think about matters differently and start to develop a new perspective on how to approach the opportunity and issues within their academic life.
We have always believed that one of the major keys to motivation is the active involvement of students in their own learning
This is the underpinning ethos of our course that builds confidence, energy & enthusiasm amongst its young participants.
All the activities are designed to be fun, exciting, sometimes thrilling and occasionally highly emotional, strongly promoting teamwork where groups can work together helping less able members to share in the group’s success. This creates positive learning experiences and is designed to make a strong impact on participants. Teams are encouraged to be as active as possible, really rising to the challenge and equally sharing in every element of success.
Course tutors are on-hand for learning support, to reinforce that success is not always purely determined in terms of results and the importance of taking a flexible and creative approach to the individual problems. The Motivation Programme builds self-esteem and gives students an opportunity to take a fresh look at the aims and direction of their young lives.
