Kingswood | Educational Activity Centres

Rich with History

Our North Wales Activity centre is set in the midst of 120 acres acres and has a rich history and the fine architectural buildings create a sense of learning in Wales reminiscent of Oxford and Cambridge. Our educational activity centre in Wales is further enhanced by its position in the shadow of Castell Dinbych (Castle Denbigh). Kingswood shares this splendid facility with Howells School, which dates back to 1859 and has a sense of history all of its own.

Impressive Facilities

The huge sports hall is the hub of our operation and is complemented by two accommodation blocks that have comfortable and thoughtfully designed dormitories, well appointed recreation rooms and our usual high-spec ICT labs. The outdoor education programme includes climbing, fencing, archery, quad bikes, zip wire and the centre also has a purpose built caving system and amazing laser quest zone. Located within the picturesque Vale of Clwyd, as a field study centre there is excellent opportunities for environmental studies and field trips.

Friendly Atmosphere

Many teachers have commented on the very special character of our Wales activity centre making it the best residential school trip they undertake. A particularly personal and friendly atmosphere, offering a rewarding residential educational visit that is especially well suited to younger age groups.

To avoid all weight restrictions there is only 1 viable route to the Centre. If you have organised your own transport please make sure your coach company are aware of this.
