About

A complete indoor and outdoor education facility set in the grounds of a former manor house in Ashford, Kent within easy reach of London and international transport links. Our largest centre, Grosvenor Hall is perfect for larger groups and more advanced development programmes.

From the moment our visitors enter the gates, they are immersed in the high-adrenaline excitement of the centre as they pass the £1m adventure park. As they explore the centre our guests continue to discover everything Grosvenor Hall has to offer; including an indoor heated swimming pool and a 25,000 sq ft sports hall which caters for a wide range of indoor activities.

Facilities

  • Outdoor: Extensive ropes park with a multitude of apparatus including a triple zipwire, 3G swing, double fan descender and the amazing Skyclimb ropes course

  • Indoor: Indoor swimming pool complex for all weather activities and sports, plus a Blu-ray cinema and an impressive 25,000 square foot sports hall

  • Other facilities: Diner, shop, chill out areas, party leader lounges, separate kitchen allowing for specific faith groups’ catering needs to be met, and a spacious and well-equipped learning zone

Accommodation

Grosvenor Hall can accommodate up to 742 young people in our standard dormitory style accommodation. Rooms range from twin beds to 8 bed dormitories, with gender-separated bathroom and shower facilities and party leader rooms close by.  Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided for all guests.

Adventure lodges

Our Adventure Lodges are the highest quality safari tents, providing a comfortable and secure base for your group throughout your stay. The lodges sites offer a close community feel with campfire areas, perfect for team bonding in the evening.

  • Bespoke branded timber furniture

  • The same high quality bedding that we have in our residential accommodation, complete with pillows and duvets

  • Lockable storage for valuables

  • A solid timber floor base, plus an undercover veranda area outside the entrance

  • Safe and convenient lighting around the Lodge area, plus inside the Lodge

  • A central space for downtime

  • Mains power supplied to each Lodge for charging phones and electrical accessories, etc.

  • Lodges for Party Leaders include kitchenettes with tea and coffee making facilities and small fridge for refreshments and storing medicines

Dedicated toilets and shower areas at a ratio of one shower per 10 young people, plus separate facilities for Party Leaders.

Food

To fuel young guests during a long day of thrilling adventure activities, we serve three hot meals per day, with lots of choice and seasonal variations. Each day there is a carefully balanced and nutritional meal plan, recently updated to meet and exceed the latest Government standards on young people's meals.

Party leader facilities

Our recently refreshed party leader bedrooms are complete with contemporary furnishings, tea and coffee making facilities and a radio-alarm.

All teacher rooms are close to student dormitories and contain en-suite bathrooms.
