The English Interactive programme is very different to that of a regular language school.

Our course not only provides essential English language learning, but teachers can choose from Kingswood’s many options to fit with your group’s specific needs, providing an all-round UK experience. Kingswood Centres also welcome groups of English students at the same time as groups from overseas. This offers your pupils the opportunity to meet and mix with native speakers.

English in Action (English lessons)

Our English in Action programme combines structured language sessions like grammar & vocabulary with interactive elements covering everyday topics such as the environment, the news or leisure, fulfilling the four key areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Modules cover: Exploring English, Crime & Justice, Eco Dilemma, Kingswood News, Towns & Cities, British Culture.

Adventure & Sports Activities

Kingswood offers a huge range of sports and adventure activities, as a welcome break to structured study, allowing students to create focus for their sessions back in the classroom. Activities are taught in English allowing a great opportunity to practice the language in context.

Excursions

Our excursion programme takes students out and about to experience the culture, heritage and history of the UK. Learning English comes alive as pupils are immersed in the British way of life. As well as day trips and half day excursions, we also offer two or three day trips to key cities and areas of the UK like London, Edinburgh and York.

Information & Communications Technology (ICT)

Students not only follow comprehensive language workbooks, but lessons are also conducted in the ICT labs using state-of-the-art software and innovative computer modules.

Environmental Studies

A key element of contemporary learning, environmental issues have never been more prominent in the world’s news and media than currently. Introducing students to a range of issues, you can choose one or a selection of environmental modules which include fieldwork and data collection, presenting information in English.
