Perfect for thrill seekers, this 130 acre site boasts a huge adventure park surrounded by rolling hills and natural woodlands which brim with wildlife. On a holiday at Colomendy, young people can hurtle through the air on our giant zipwire, venture inside our man made cave or walk the treetops on our aerial walkway.
The centre boasts a £1 million adventure park with three huge climbing and abseiling towers, high and low rope activities, a 3G swing, a 200 metre giant zipwire and a major simulated caving system built into a natural rock seam. The River Alyn runs through the Northern end of the site, and alongside this is a purpose-built watersports lake.

Excursions and Extras
Our young visitors have the opportunity to explore outside of camp for the day by adding an excursion to their visit. Prices include entrance fees, travel and staff.

Alton Towers - £79
As one of the UK’s biggest theme parks there’s lots to see and do and plenty of thrills, laughs and frights to be enjoyed by all. Under 14s are supervised at all times, but our older campers are given the freedom to spend some time on their own in small groups.
Chester - £49
Visit a historic town with beautifully preserved architecture dating back to Roman times. Also included is a guided tour of Chester. There will also be time for shopping with the full-day excursion.
Liverpool and Beatles Museum - £67
Explore the iconic city of Liverpool, the birth place of the Beatles. The excursion includes a guided tour of Liverpool and a visit to the Beatles museum.
Manchester and Old Trafford Stadium Tour - £59
See the home of one of the biggest football clubs in the world. The excursion includes a stadium tour and visit to the Red Devils museum, followed by shopping time in afternoon, in the capital of the North!
Slate Museum - £59
A chance to learn about the Welsh slate industry at this Victorian workshop on a vast quarry site. The Workshops and Buildings are designed as though quarrymen and engineers have just put down their tools and left the courtyard for home, while an array of Talks and Demonstrations including slate-splitting give you a real insight into quarry life.
Warwick Castle - £79
At this medieval castle built by William the Conqueror, campers experience a thousand years of history, learning about great battles and ancient myths.
Conwy Castle - £49
One of the finest surviving medieval castles in Britain. Campers will be inspired by the grandeur of its high towers and curtain walls and the breathtaking views across the mountains and sea.
