Alpha Projects build upon our many years of experience of working with students who want to achieve specific learning outcomes or develop particular skills such as Gifted and Talented children, specialist groups or cultural exchanges.
Projects are fun, encourage free thinking and are an excellent way to really bond a class or group. Naturally, Alpha Projects dovetail neatly with a choice of almost 40 activity sessions making it an all-round learning adventure.
Modules will involve the whole group and are particularly useful in demonstrating the very valuable contribution that all team members can contribute in producing the end result. Many projects are time-bound and introduce an element of working against the clock to add realism as well as build excitement. Our cultural exchange programme Interaction also includes the option of pre and post-visit project collaboration.
Teams are tasked with creating their very own drama-documentary of their stay at Kingswood. Themes are devised, storyboards created, scripts finalised and shot lists produced and then finally it's ready for action. Reporters will learn how to write stories, read on camera, do outside broadcasts, before editing the whole project to produce a full news report, right on cue. Specifically designed for Gifted and Talented students, this project has an appeal that reaches all abilities.

Le Grand Union! On certain dates throughout the year selected centres host schools from the UK and France.
